In concert with the Board of Directors, DASH relies on a fiercely efficient team of professionals to direct and manage both the development of properties as well as the maintenance of properties in operations.
Kim Loveall Price, Executive Director
Kim is leading DASH to reposition assets and build capacity. She brings expertise in affordable housing, asset management, agency mergers and reorganizations in addition to the full suite of executive management skills including: fiscal management, visionary leadership, board and staff development, human resources, and fundraising.
Kim has worked with organizations with annual budgets ranging from $240k to $9 million and has been lauded for excellent leadership, energy, interpersonal skills, and passion for the work. With her housing expertise and long-history of operational success, Kim is perfectly positioned to lead implementation of the 2015-2020 DASH Strategic Plan.
Gordon Asheim, Accounting Manager
Formed in 1997, Gordon P. Asheim, P.S. provides tax preparation and planning services. Gordon provides part-time comptroller services for DASH and is a key partner in our management team. He maintains DASH financials and provides consultation and review of our many partnerships as well as financial audits and tax preparation.
Chris Buchanan, Director of Real Estate Development
For over 20 years, Chris has been involved in building design and construction across a wide range of industries. She has built award winning projects for general contractors and has managed the design and construction of commercial and multi-family residential developments for Jones Lang LaSalle, Intracorp, and Wyndham Resorts. Chris studied architecture at Yale University where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree and founded Cirrus Building Services in 2012. Chris joined DASH as a consultant in 2014 and later joined DASH as a key partner in our team.
Tim Locke, Director of Portfolio Acquisition, Preservation, and Development
Tim brings 15 years of experience in affordable housing development and more than 20 years of experience in real estate and community development work. Since 2014, he worked with Brawner and Associates providing housing development and financial consulting services to public housing authorities and non-profits. From 2003 to 2014, he worked for the King County Housing Authority serving as a senior project manager for KCHA’s Greenbridge HOPE VI public housing redevelopment and a wide variety of other tax credit, acquisition and development projects, and establishing a $62 million New Market Tax Credit portfolio of community service facilities, educational, healthcare, and affordable homeownership program manufactured housing.
Prior to working in affordable housing, Tim worked several years as a non-profit director and served as a consultant to public entities and non-profits, providing feasibility studies for small business incubator projects and public farmers’ markets. Tim also served as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee school of Architecture and Urban Planning, has a Master of Urban Planning, and has been a certified Planner by the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP).
Sarah Chong, Project Coordinator
Sarah manages special projects and provides support, administrative oversight, and coordination of corporate reposition plans. Sarah's strength is supporting existing operations to provide a foundation of strength as DASH looks into future expansion opportunities. Her interest in affordable housing was shaped through her education, professional background with diverse populations, and working closely with seniors and individuals with special needs. Sarah earned her Bachelor of Arts degree at the University of Washington and currently serves as a Certified Professional Guardian in King County.
Evergreen Court Team
DASH’s historic expansion into senior assisted living with Evergreen Court Apartments marked the first assisted living senior project using low-income housing tax credits and tax-exempt bond financing in King County. Evergreen Court staff includes the Executive Director, Business Manager, Assistant Executive Director, Director of Assisted Living, and dedicated employees that provides full-service retirement living with three meals a day, direct care and assisted living services, activities, transportation, and housekeeping.
Property Management Teams
Under the supervision of DASH, each of our 13 properties has a team of staff dedicated to providing an outstanding living-environment for each of our residents. While each facility is unique, a typical staff structure includes: Community Manger, Assistant Community Manager, and maintenance team. Specific to our senior properties, we have a wide range of services from transportation to skilled nursing support.
