The Board of Directors of DASH are excited to announce our affiliation with Transforming Age. With complementary skills and resources, we will be able to expand our mission together and provide more permanent affordable housing for seniors as well as working families and individuals at a time when more of both is critically needed. The affiliation will also raise awareness, resources, and expertise to our combined efforts.

For over 28 years, Bellevue-based DASH has developed, owned, and operated affordable communities for seniors and workforce housing. Almost 1,600 people live in 13 DASH communities across King County.  Transforming Age is a 63 year old not-for-profit senior living organization serving over 7,500 people in 28 senior living and housing communities nationwide, through home and community based services as well as technology solution, business services and philanthropy initiatives. Transforming Age is positioned, thanks to the affiliation with DASH, to strengthen its commitment to develop and provide more affordable housing. We welcome you to discover the remarkable difference that Transforming Age makes by visiting their website, www.transformingage.org.

DASH and Transforming Age will continue to run as their own 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organizations. The affiliation will align our organizations under one board, which now includes long time Board chair of DASH, Greg Russell, allowing us to better serve both organizations. Through our history of collaboration, we know that our shared values and shared commitment to the families we serve will only deepen with our affiliation.

This is an exciting new chapter in the continued growth of DASH and Transforming Age mission as it enriches our network. Thank you for your steadfast support of DASH over our last 28 years. We continue to strive to provide affordable, dignified housing to our community. It is because of our dedicated team members, partners and our remarkable residents, clients, and program participants that we are able to create opportunities with like-minded organizations such as Transforming Age.
